Deze hebben merkelijk meer laadruimte dan de mini bestelwagen, bestaan vaak ook in langere versies en kunnen nog door hun hoogte probleemloos ondergrondse garages inrijden. Bij deze categorie worden voertuigen beoogd zoals bijvoorbeeld de Ford transit connect, Opel Combo, Goupil G6, Volkswagen caddy, Renault Kangoo,… · Dit zijn de iets grotere bestelwagens met al hun mogelijke varianten (pick-up versies met diverse opbouw (open laadbak, laadkast), goederenvervoer, personenvervoer, inrichting vervoer minder validen,…). Meestal zijn deze voertuigen voorzien voor 1 chauffeur en 1 of 2 passagiers in cargo uitvoering. Deze voertuigen bestaan ook in ‘aannemersuitvoering’ of dubbele cabine (4 +1 tem 6 +1). De varianten van deze bestelwagens zijn zeer groot. Meestal zijn deze voertuigen voorzien voor 1 chauffeur en 1 of 2 passagiers in cargo uitvoering.
