What the buyer is looking for

The Directorate for Translations (AVT) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs needs to hire services for the translation of texts with a high risk of degradation from Dutch into English. High risk of damage is understood to mean that, given the nature and content of the texts, inexpert translation can lead to security breaches, to financial and/or legal damage for the Dutch State, to political damage at home or abroad, or to damage to the image of the Netherlands abroad. Partly based on experience figures from recent years and the expected future needs, the size of the Assignment has been estimated. The estimated value of the Assignment is on average € 100,000, - excluding VAT per year, therefore € 400,000, - excluding VAT over a period of four years.
