Die Werftinstandsetzung der Fähren soll einzeln nacheinander mit einem zeitlichen Abstand von mindestens 8 Kalenderwochen zwischen zwei Instandsetzungen erfolgen. Bei dieser Werftinstandsetzung sind Leistungen aus dem Bereich Konservierung, Schiffbau, Maschinenbau und Elektro-/Nachrichtentechnik gem. Vergabeunterlagen zu erbringen. Die Fähren sind für die Fahrt auf den Bundeswasserstraßen der Zonen 2-Binnen, 3 und 4 (mit Ausnahme von Rhein) nach BinSchUO zugelassen.
