Bis Anfang 2027 soll jetzt der noch im Bau befindliche Neubau als integriertes Depot- und Forschungsgebäude mit Archiv- und Depotflächen sowie Arbeits- und Büroräumen an der Jahrhunderthalle in Bochum soweit fertiggestellt werden, dass mit der Einrichtung und dem Umzug in den Neubau begonnen werden kann.
