The subject matter of the public contract is the design, construction (supply, installation, trial operation and final acceptance) of a system of high-temperature heat pumps with heat storage tanks (hereinafter: heat pumps), including the maintenance of the heat pump system, including the reconstruction of the electricity system and the implementation of control, automation and integration into the existing control system (SCADA), at the location of the heat pump POLAJ Trbovlje. The system is implemented as a two-stage system of high-temperature heat pumps, with the first stage implemented by air/water and the second stage implemented by water/water. … construction parts (geomechanical research, excavation, deep foundation with piles and reinforced concrete foundation plate with final exterior arrangement), with hydraulic and software connection of new storage units with existing heat storage units into a single operating storage system and with full integration into the existing control system (SCADA) of the client. The detailed scope of the works is defined in Article 4 of the model contract for design and construction and in the technical specification. The implementation is carried out according to the principle of "design and build", which means that the selected contractor prepares all the necessary project documentation (at least DGD and PZI), obtains all the necessary consents, permits and administrative permits, including a building permit if this is necessary for the envisaged scope of interventions, and carries out all work until successful trial operation, proof of the required parameters and final acceptance. The subject of the contract is also the regular and preventive maintenance of heat pumps within a period of 120 (one hundred and twenty) months from the start of the warranty period. The purpose of the intervention is to modernise heat production sources at the Toplarne Polaj site in Trbovlje in such a way that it will be possible to benefit from renewable energy sources and streamline the production of thermal energy by reducing losses and environmental impacts.
