… veterinarians. The names and producers are given for the sake of clarity and are illustrative. The contracting authority accepts the use of ‘equivalent’ solutions. ‘Equivalent’ solutions will be considered to be solutions whose offered parameters will be no worse (not lower) than the parameters of the solution described in the tender specification (minimum), and their application will guarantee the achievement of final effects in accordance with the terms of the tender specification and the announcement. By an equivalent contracting authority, in particular, a medicine that contains exactly the same active substances and in the same amount per unit of measurement. Each Contractor submitting an equivalent tender, in accordance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act, is obliged to demonstrate in the content of the tender submitted by him that the subject of the contract offered by him meets the requirements set out in the tender specification or provides for solutions better than those described. In this case, in order to assess equivalence, the contractor is obliged to attach to the tender its detailed descriptions allowing to assess the conformity of the offered medicine/medical material with the requirements of the VTZ.
