What the buyer is looking for
In order to comply with its legal obligations (§146a AO and KassenSichV), the BSI must update the protection profiles BSI-CC-PP-0104 Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP) and BSI-CC-PP-0111 CSPLight (CCSPL). For this purpose, the mentioned protection profiles are also to be upgraded in the project for a wider use in the area of eID / EUDI wallet, 5G and FIDO / Passkeys. This also requires the development of a standardized interface description for CSPLight products in central data center operation in order to increase interoperability and minimize dependencies on proprietary architectures. The project is divided into three separate lots (technical lots within the meaning of § 97(4) GWB): - Lot 1: Adjustment and updating of the CSP protection profile and CCSPL protection profile (update CCSPL) - Lot 2: Evaluation CSP-PP/CCSPL-PP (Eval-CCSPL) - Lot 3: Standardized Section Description…
Show full description
… (API-CCSPL) Lot 1 includes the update and modularization of the PP-CSP and PP-CCSPL protection profiles. Following this, an evaluation of the protection profiles CSP and CCSPL according to EUCC will be carried out in lot 2. Finally, Lot 3 draws up a uniform, standardised interface description for CSP-Light on the basis of the protection profile drawn up in Lot 1. Details can be found in the specifications (see annexes). · The objective of Lot 1 is to adapt and update the PP-CSP and PP-CCSPL protection profiles. The two protection profiles are to be merged and the multi-assurance approach is to be followed. The new protection profile is to be designed modularly in such a way that it is possible to operate various applications and to enable a wide range of applications. Here, the core of the PP should be limited to the minimum necessary functionality of the CSP(L). All functionalities, which are only required for certain purposes, should be outsourced to modules. For the individual application scenarios mentioned above, dedicated PP configurations are to be developed, each of which can contain suitable combinations of function modules. In the lot, a concept design is first developed together with the working group, then the detailed architecture is to be described and in another AP the focus is on the actual PP creation. The objective of the lot is an updated and modularized protection profile as well as at least one associated PP configuration for the use case cash registers and eID. · The subject of the contract in lot 2 is the evaluation of the protection profile drawn up in lot 1. Lot 2 results in complete individual audit reports, so that the existing reports can be submitted for certification of the protection profile and its configuration and all formal requirements are met. · The objective of Lot 3 is to create a uniform, standardised interface description for the CSP, enabling vendor-independent use of a CSP on a secure server architecture for external applications. The basis for the interface description should be the updated and modularised protection profiles or the merged protection profile from lot 1 as well as the current BSI TR-CSP2.
