The Berlin Center for Gene and Cell Therapies, project abbreviation ‘GCT’, is planned as a modern new building with laboratory, office and GMP areas. It is the kick-off project of the Bayer Open Innovation Campus in Berlin-Mitte and is intended to close the translation gap between science and industry in the field of cell and gene therapy. … equipment, is planned in three floors, each with approximately 770 m ² laboratory area. The scope of services is expected to include 477.6 m bench length and six laboratory prints. In addition, media yokes or media columns should be provided for on a small scale. The laboratory areas are designed with high redundancy and are equipped with upper cabinets and roll containers to the usual extent.
