… care services includes: 1) teaching and developing skills necessary for independent living: • developing skills to meet basic life needs, • shaping social functioning skills, • motivating for activity, treatment and rehabilitation, • conducting training in self-service skills and social skills, 2) supporting, also in the form of assistance in everyday life activities, in particular such as: • self-service, in particular economic and cleaning activities, including the ability to maintain and run a home, • care for hygiene and appearance, • maintaining social contacts with household members, peers, at the place of study and work and with the local community, • organising and spending free time together, • using the services of various institutions, 3) interventions and assistance in family life, including: • assistance in dealing with crisis situations - specialist counselling, crisis interventions, psychological support, therapeutic conversations, • facilitating access to education and culture, • counselling, coordination of activities of other services for the family of which the person receiving assistance in the form of specialist services is a member, • shaping positive relationships of the supported person with loved ones, • cooperation with the family - shaping appropriate attitudes towards the sick person, disabled person, 4) assistance in handling official matters, including: • in obtaining social and pension benefits, • in completing official documents, • support and assistance in obtaining employment, including: • in seeking information about work, assistance in finding employment or alternative activities, • in particular participation in occupational therapy workshops, professional activation centers, community-based self-help homes, social integration centers and clubs, work clubs, • in completing documents needed to take up employment, • in preparing for a conversation with the employer, supporting and assisting in contacts with the employer, • in solving mental problems resulting from work or lack of work, 5) assistance in managing money, including: • learning how to plan a budget, assisting in incurring expenses, • helping in obtaining reductions in fees, • increasing the ability to manage one's own budget and financial independence, 6) housing assistance, including: • in obtaining housing, negotiating and paying fees, • in organizing minor renovations, adaptations, repairs, removal of architectural barriers, • in shaping the right relationships of the person receiving help with neighbors and the host of the house, 7) care - as support for the healing process: • assistance in accessing health services, • agreeing and supervising the dates of medical visits, diagnostic tests, • assistance in buying or ordering medicines in a pharmacy, • supervising the intake of medicines and observing possible side effects of their use, • in particularly justified cases, changing dressings, assistance in the use of auxiliary and medical materials, orthopaedic items, and also
