Die vorhandene NSHV ist veraltet, weist technisch abgängigen Zustand auf und entspricht nicht mehr dem aktuellen Stand der Technik. Aufgrund dessen und der Tatsache, dass sie sich nicht für den Neubau erweitern lässt, muss diese erneuert werden. Die NSHV wird von zwei Transformatoren mit jeweils 400 kVA, 577,8 A eingespeist. Für eine mögliche Erhöhung der Transformatorenleistung auf jeweils 630 kVA soll die neue NSHV entsprechend höher ausgelegt werden. Sie besteht wieder aus dem Teil EEW und dem Teil Landkreis, die Leistungsschalter der Einspeisung sind im Teil EEW angeordnet.
