Eine weitere Instandhaltung wird auf Grund steigender Aufwendungen zunehmend unwirtschaftlich. Die Eisenbahnüberführung soll bestmöglich durch einen Ersatzneubau ersetzt werden. Direkt unter dem Viadukt befindet sich im unmittelbaren Dammbereich der Durchlass km 148,666, welcher ebenfalls erneuerungsbedürftig ist. Das Projektziel besteht in der Erhaltung der langfristigen Verfügbarkeit der Bauwerke unter Minimierung des Instandhaltungsaufwandes durch einen Ersatzneubau. Diese Ausschreibung Planungsleistungen beinhaltet alle Leistungsphasen von Lph. 1 bis Lph. 4 und optional Lph. 5 bis Lph. 7. Notwendige Leistungsinhalte unter anderem: Ingenieurbau, Verkehrsanlagen, technische Streckenausrüstung (OLA, LST, TK, 50 Hz), Vermessung, Baugrund, Bauwerksuntersuchung.
