What the buyer is looking for
This public contract concerns the conclusion of an agreement with a single contractor for the provision, integration, maintenance and support of a cloud-based (SaaS) Enterprise Video platform for the benefit of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). The platform is primarily dedicated to large-scale lecture capture, management, video editing, secure distribution and streaming of educational video content to students. The VUB currently has an Enterprise video platform that is deeply embedded in the daily academic and educational operation. In order to guarantee the continuity of education, to prevent capital loss on existing hardware investments and to minimize the administrative and operational inconvenience for the teaching staff, the VUB sets strict technical and functional requirements in the field of compatibility, migration and change management.
