What the buyer is looking for
DTU wants to buy a parking system for DTU’s campus in Lyngby. With a parking system, DTU means a technical system used to register and manage the use of a DTU’s parking spaces. The system aims to provide a continuous overview of how many parking spaces are occupied and how many are available. The registration must be done using cameras or inductive coils, which are located at the entrances and exits to the parking lots. Every time a car enters the parking lot, it is counted as a occupied space, and every time a car exits, a space is released accordingly. In this way, the system can continuously calculate how many parking spaces are available. The information must be displayed on digital parking signs at the driveway or along the access roads, where drivers can see how many spaces are available before entering the area.
