What the buyer is looking for
This contract includes the door-to-door collection, sorting and processing of the textile group collected on the territory of Antwerp. The aim is to maximise the reuse of the collected textiles. The textiles that cannot be reused are processed in the most sustainable and economically viable way. Textiles are understood (this list is not exhaustive): all clothing (textiles and leather goods), footwear, handbags, bedding, home textiles (curtains, curtains, tablecloths, napkins...), kitchen and bathroom textiles (towels, tea towels), toy toys, clean sheets and textiles with a small defect. The textile fraction contains both reusable and non-reusable textiles. Carpets, mattresses, seat cushions and wet or smeared textiles are not part of this textile fraction.
