What the buyer is looking for
Please refer to invitation to tender No 2026005425 for a similar type of procurement. At the site of HW Altglienicke, the three identical hot water generation systems HWE 3, 4 and 5 must be replaced by almost performance-identical new systems as large-capacity boilers (according to EN 12953). HWE 3 and 4 are currently still in operation only HWE 5 has not been operated for several years and is permanently out of operation. In order not to endanger or further restrict the security of supply at the site, a step-by-step procedure for the replacement of first HWE 5 and subsequently HWE 4 and then HWE3 is absolutely necessary. The three new hot water generators to be built are to be connected to a new three-pronged chimney by means of new flue gas ducts. … after completion of the work. The scope of the invitation to tender includes all services necessary for the replacement of the hot water generators described at the outset with ready-to-use new systems. This includes the planning and detailed engineering (construction, mechanics and electrical/control technology), the dismantling of existing old systems (including the removal of fault edges), the supply, assembly and piping (water and smoke gas side) of the new boilers and the chimney including the equipment necessary for operation (measurement technology, fittings, pumps, gas control section, boiler control cabinet, etc.) as well as the commissioning of the boilers. All newly installed components shall be easily accessible in terms of their operating and maintenance areas, or shall be easily accessible or operable. Should steel construction platforms/podeste be rebuilt or newly necessary for this purpose, this is also within the scope of services of the Contractor. Compliance with all valid guidelines, laws, regulations and standards is assumed for the scope of services described above.
