… characteristics is required: - thermocycler unit suitable for the intended qPCR applications - at least 96 reaction positions per run; 96-well and 384-well systems are permitted - suitable optical detection system - manufacturer-validated reaction volume range that includes reaction volumes of 10 μL or less - temperature range of at least 4-99 °C; Temperature accuracy and uniformity not exceeding +/-0.5 °C or better - maximum ramp rate not less than 2.5 °C/s - Fluorescence detection with at least five independently usable optical channels or multiplex detection of at least five targets per well - Support for intercalating dye chemicals (e.g. SYBR Green) and hydrolysis probes - Quantitative linear dynamic range of at least 6 log10 stages - Standard melt curve analysis - Hardware and software for measurement control and standard data analysis including Cq/Ct determination, standard curves and absolute and relative quantification - Export of measurement and evaluation data in common reprocessable formats - Regular operation, data storage and standard data analysis without mandatory external cloud service or ongoing cloud subscription - Full suitability for safe routine operation in the university research laboratory 5. Scope of services The scope of services includes in particular: - Free-of-use delivery - Installation and commissioning - Instruction and training - Provision of the necessary software specified in the specifications - Complete technical documentation - Ready-to-use handover 6.
