… investment casting. The steam autoclave is used for the controlled melting of wax models from ceramic mold shells using steam, pressure and temperature. The high-performance 3D printer enables the production of precise ceramic cores, molding elements and samples with complex geometries and supports the development of innovative component and process concepts. The systems are used in application-oriented research and development and form a central basis for the further development of material and process routes relevant to fine casting. They serve the development and qualification of additive ceramic manufacturing processes as well as the investigation and optimization of the dewaxing process and its effects on the quality and integrity of ceramic mold shells. In this way, they make a significant contribution to the development of high-performance precision casting processes for industrial applications, especially in technically demanding and quality-critical fields of application. The award is carried out in batches in order to enable the technically and professionally appropriate award of the respective specialised systems. The funding is provided on a pro rata basis from public grants, so that the award is carried out in compliance with the principles of transparency and equal treatment. Access e.V. takes the view that it is not a contracting authority within the meaning of Paragraph 99(1) of the GWB. The implementation of the open procedure is voluntary and does not entail recognition of the admissibility of a review procedure under public procurement law.
