The Bundesgesellschaft für Endlagerung mbH (BGE), hereinafter referred to as the client (AG), is the operator of the Morsleben radioactive waste repository (ERAM) in Saxony-Anhalt, near the border with Lower Saxony. Between 1971 and 1991 and from 1994 to 1998, a total of around 37,000 cubic metres of low- and intermediate-level radioactive waste were disposed of here. The disposal facility is to be closed down in the future while the waste remains. A self-propelled multifunctional device with wired, electric drive is to be procured for the performance of mining activities such as deprivation work, the reworking of line contours, the drilling of blast hole and anchor holes, as well as the loading of piles. … hydraulically controlled support feet. The complete control of all functions is to be carried out by means of radio remote control. The required working power is defined by the electric motor power and the volume of the hydraulic system. The machine must be able to pass through bottlenecks with the maximum dimensions of 1.8 x 2.1 m (width x height). The scope of delivery of the multifunction device should include the following attachments including a quick-change system: • Hydraulic hammer with pointed chisel • Slant head for the machining of rock salt and anhydrite • Loading bucket (0.25 m3) • Adapter plates for mech. and hydr. Adaptation of existing drill guns The mobile machine must be compatible with the 690 V AC IT network (3P+PE) without having to use a separate transformer. The connection cable of the machine must be approved for mining. Earth fault monitoring with an optical display on the vehicle shall be provided. The mobile working machine should comply constructively and technically with the current state of the art as well as the currently applicable laws and standards. With appropriate special / additional equipment, such as additional work lights, protective covers for hydraulic and electrical components as well as a mining-approved (BuT) and 10 kg fire extinguisher located on the vehicle, the machine is to be adapted by the AN to the underground requirements. The scope of the service also includes a factory inspection of the machine on the premises of the AN, the delivery of the machine to the AG, dismantling work for the shaft transport if necessary, assembly work in the underground workshop of the AN, the organisation and implementation of two expert acceptances (mechanical/electrical) and extensive technical documentation. Finally, the AN provides initial instructions for the workshop and operating personnel.
