The usual methods such as spawning, interrogation, visual observations, nighttime illumination, larvae search and, if necessary, pot traps are to be used. Amphibious evidence shall be documented with species, number and stage of development. In addition, it is necessary to look for raccoon, mink and other invasive predators. Positive findings and predation events are closer to accurately documenting crane observations. Due to the short population maxima of individual species, it is necessary to work with parallel detectors. A worker may process a maximum of two complete measuring table sheets; A maximum of two main operators per measuring table sheet shall be permitted. Each quadrant must be mapped by the same person on all three dates. The personnel offered shall be binding; an exchange presupposes a factual reason, the prior consent of the contracting authority and at least an equivalent substitute. The results shall be recorded in a MultiBaseCS database in accordance with the LAU requirements. Positive and negative proofs of amphibians as well as raccoon proofs or corresponding negative proofs must be documented. In principle, the data sets must be linked to clearly identified spatial geometries of the test waters. The conservation statuses of the occurrences of species listed in Annexes II and IV are to be assessed in accordance with BfN and BLAK (2017) and recorded in tabular form. A written final report is not due. By 30 October 2027, the MultiBaseCS database, a shape file of all survey waters, the tabular assessments of conservation statuses and a photo documentation with at least five meaningful photos per body of water shall be provided on a physical medium. All persons in charge of site surveying must take part in the central start-up consultation until mid-March. From March to September 2027, the client must be informed by e-mail about the processing status, further planning and problems on the last working day.
