… the candidate demonstrates his interest in the contract, expresses his written will to be selected (Article 2, 12° of the Public Procurement Act 17 June 2016) and submits the requested supporting documents in order to be selected. 2nd phase - Award After the selection, only the selected candidates can participate in the second phase, the award phase, on the basis of the specifications that will be provided to them after the selection decision. In this second phase, the successful candidates will be invited to submit a tender on the basis of the specifications. Parcels: - for lot 1 ‘Events’, we are looking for three external catering partners who can support the university for a period of four years in the following activities that can be used flexibly across all campuses, so that they can serve the entire province of West Flanders. Events: Each academic year, VIVES University of Applied Sciences provides 3 large-scale institutional events, including the Academic Opening in September, the New Year's Reception in January and the Pro Day in May; A turnout of around 700 to 1,000 attendees is expected for each of these events. In addition, VIVES University of Applied Sciences organizes several proclamations, PhD sessions, etc. spread over the various study areas every year. These ceremonies take place per programme or group and are aimed at students and their parents or supervisors. Adapted, well-groomed and well-organised catering is also required for these moments, taking into account varying group sizes, locations and practical circumstances. - for lot 2 ‘customised assignments’, we are also looking for three external catering partners, for significantly smaller assignments of an average of 10 to 50 people where an exceptionally high level of quality prevails, both in terms of products, presentation and service. ‘High-end’ customised assignments: This lot concerns the provision of high-quality, tailor-made catering services, with an explicit emphasis on quality, exclusivity and experience. With this lot, the contracting authority aims to select service providers capable of developing and realising catering concepts that are fully tailored to the specific context, objectives and target group of each event. This is not a standard offer, but always a unique interpretation in which customization is central. Duration The framework agreement shall have an initial duration of four years, provided that the maximum estimated value of the contract is not exceeded within this period. The contracting authority draws the attention of the candidate to the fact that the indicated maximum value has not been calculated on the basis of the probable quantities in the inventory. Therefore, that maximum value does not indicate the amount of the tender for which the tender may be awarded. This case concerns the maximum value of the framework agreement, which is determined on the basis of the maximum quantities to be ordered.
