What the buyer is looking for
EDF power solutions leader in the production of electricity from renewable sources, a subsidiary of the EDF group, supports the group’s ambitions in renewable energy. The contract concerns the construction, operation and maintenance of a storage project in southern Corsica for which CRE is conducting a competitive bidding process. The service provider must answer for all of these services. The storage facility shall have the following characteristics: Battery capacity 20MWh – 4 container of 5 MWh Battery power 8MW 1 PDL HTA Ground right-of-way approx. 2600m2 Output part: The contractor must supply and install the AC equipment, including the delivery station, transformers and inverters. … Power solution will reserve the right to waive this option at the time of finalisation of the contract. As regards the option of supplying DC equipment, the guarantees must be included and sufficiently detailed and in accordance with EDF SEI’s specifications, which require for the complete system 500 cycles/year, 15 years of service life, an efficiency of > 83.5% and a minimum availability of 97.5%. The construction of the fleet must be in accordance with the latest technical requirements of EDF Power Solutions, which will be sent during the RFQ. The site is considered to have a flat topology without soil or hydraulic risk. Geotechnical, topographical and hydraulic studies will be provided at the time of the RFQ. Operation – Maintenance part: The operation and maintenance of the site will be carried out on the basis of a contract with a maximum duration of 15 years. The contractor must take into account all the technical characteristics of the project related to the implementation phase. During the term of this contract, the service provider will receive an annual flat-rate remuneration based on his price offer, which will include: Site supervision and security; Preventive maintenance of AC, DC and PDL equipment; Corrective maintenance of AC and DC equipment; Guarantee management and regulatory controls; Relationship with EDF Power Solutions and the Network Manager; Maintenance of battery performance: availability, SOH, RTE EDF power solutions will reserve the option of withdrawing the services related to DC equipment at the time of finalisation of the contract.
