… earliest contract start date is 01.01.2024. Subsequently, accession to the contract can take place at any time if the conditions for participation are met. All valid contracts end automatically on 31.12.2027. The latest date for joining the contract is 30.06.2027. The aim of the selective contract is to obtain an early diagnosis and the possibility of intervention after the onset of the first symptoms, as well as a maximum reduction in disease activity and the best possible prognosis for the quality of life in patients with gonarthrosis or hip osteoarthritis. This ensures that surgical therapy measures are only initiated when the possibilities of conservative treatment have been fully exploited. With a coordinated quality-assured care, within which the orthopedist or surgeon coordinates the treatment of patients affected by gonarthrosis or hip osteoarthritis with the family doctor in close cooperation and accompanies the implementation of the therapy plan close to home, both the quality of life of the patients affected can be significantly increased and the use of resources can be made economical. Patients with osteoarthritis, who are well-informed about their clinical picture, are less worried, tolerate existing complaints better and develop effective methods to deal with the disease. This publication does not constitute the award of a public contract within the meaning of Directive 2014/24/EU or public procurement law. Publication in the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union shall be carried out in order to ensure as much transparency as possible as regards the intended conclusion of contracts. In the absence of a publication form, the contract notice shall be used. The resulting conceptual requirements, such as the procedural designation "open procedure" or the information under "final date for receipt of tenders" or "conditions for opening tenders" are solely due to the use of this notice form and the publication platform. The indication of the data of these points should therefore be seen as fictitious information. A further meaning, in particular a submission to public procurement regulations, insofar as they are not obligatory for legal reasons, is not associated with this.
