Strengthening the resilience of the technical infrastructure of the Nicolaus Copernicus Specialist Municipal Hospital in Toruń - Stage II

The contract will be carried out in the ‘design and build’ formula and includes the preparation of the necessary design documentation, making the required arrangements, supplying equipment and materials, performing disassembly and assembly works, carrying out measurements and functional tests, checking cooperation with the power generator and handing over the rebuilt system to operation. The works will be carried out on the premises of an active hospital, so the method of their implementation must take into account the need to maintain safety and continuity of supply to hospital receptions. Any planned power outages require prior agreement with the Ordering Party. 1.2. The subject matter of the contract covers in particular the following scope of work: 1) Development of design documentation necessary to perform the task, including an inventory of the existing installation, selection of equipment and protections, execution of the required technical calculations and obtaining the necessary arrangements. 2) Modernisation of the rail system of the main switchgear of the RG Building ‘O’, including: a) reconstruction of the existing rail system and replacement of YKY 1×240 mm2 wiring with a length of about 40 m, b) replacement of the existing SZR 630 A with the automation system, c) installation of two RBK 3 disconnectors, d) replacement of six BM 315 A fuses with the required protection selectivity, e) execution of the necessary electrical connections, support structures and control cables. 3) Dismantling of RG kitchen automation and modernization of the main current tracks, including removal of unnecessary control elements, reconstruction of conflicting installation elements and adaptation of rail and cable connections to the new power configuration. 4) Execution of necessary auxiliary and accompanying works, including disassembly, assembly and security works. 5) Carrying out measurements, functional tests and commissioning of the installation, in particular checking the correct operation of the SZR system and its cooperation with the existing power generator. 6) Preparation of as-built documentation and commissioning of the modernized system. The works will be carried out on the premises of an active hospital. Any planned power outages require prior agreement with the Ordering Party. Detailed technical and functional requirements are set out in the Functional and Utility Programme annexed to the ToR. The contracting authority shall provide for the procedure to be cancelled if the public funds which it intended to use to finance the contract in full have not been allocated to it.
