It is necessary to adjust the geometric parameters in order to improve the safety of traffic users, ensure better comfort and smoothness of driving, as well as to guarantee proper drainage. 6. The dewatering of the roadway is currently carried out by the method of surface run-off of rainwater and meltwater in accordance with the natural terrain. Waters flow down to the shoulders and slopes from where they then go to drainage ditches located in the immediate vicinity of the road, or are drained directly into the ground. 7. The uneven surfaces are conducive to the formation of local water reservoirs and puddles during the rainy season, which in turn translates into even faster destruction and degradation of the roadway. 8. On the section of road being developed, under the main road, there are 3 existing culverts from concrete pipes with diameters of ø400 mm. Reconstruction of the above-mentioned culverts is planned with adaptation to the new parameters and dimensions of the municipal road. 9. The extension of the municipal road will include, among others: • preparatory and demolition works; • felling and grubbing up trees and bushes from the area of the road lane, • carrying out earthworks; • reinforcement of weak ground and construction of road embankments; • protection of the ground sections of the technical equipment network of the area – telecommunications network, • reconstruction of existing road and drainage culverts under the main roadway, • construction of a paved road with bituminous surface with a width of the roadway in the range of 4.20÷5.20 m, • correction of geometric parameters of the existing route and use of regular lateral and longitudinal slopes, • implementation of normative intersections with other public roads, • construction of ordinary exits with bituminous or aggregate surface to the limits of the road lane, • implementation of surface drainage of the roadway with drainage of water to green areas and to roadside ditches with culverts at exits; • ongoing maintenance, cleaning and profiling of existing roadside ditches, without changing technical parameters; • making watercourses from prefabricated semi-circular and trapezoidal troughs; • making fortifications on road slopes, • making roadsides with a width of at least 1.20 m from a mixture of broken aggregates, • making vertical markings and assembly of BRD elements, finishing works; • clean-up of the construction site and adjacent areas. 10. Trees from felling are the property of the Ordering Party. 11. The customer requires a 60-month warranty period. 12. A detailed description of the subject-matter of the contract is set out in the project documentation annexed to the tender specification – Annex 7.
