Your path to submission

  1. Deadline: 7 October at 10:00 — 4 days left.
  2. You submit on eZamówienia — not here and not by e-mail. ↗ Submission via eZamówienia: account required; above the EU threshold a qualified signature, nationally the 'trusted signature' often suffices — check the wording. Sort out account and signature first — not on submission day.
  3. Collect your evidence — the eligibility requirements are listed above; for many of them the analysis explains how to obtain them.

Clement What the numbers say about this buyer

  • 18% of this buyer's awards went to companies that had already won here before (35 awards since 2024, spread over 27 companies). That is well below the sector norm (30%) — this buyer switches suppliers more often than others.n = 35 awards since 2024
  • 6% of awards went to companies from abroad (35 awards with a known winner country). Sector average: 6%.n = 35

Foreign bidders

In Poland · R&D services, 92 contracts went to foreign companies over the last 3 years (of 1,648 recorded awards) — mostly from Bulgaria, Spain, Germany.

Typical field: median 2 (from 469 awards).

Measured from linked award data; foreign winners bidding through a local subsidiary count as domestic — the true share is higher.

What the buyer is looking for

1. The subject of the contract is a service in the form of performing research works, including the characteristics of ceramic powders: corundum, zirconium dioxide, silicon carbide, boron carbide and cerium oxide, as well as the characteristics of sinters obtained on the basis of the above raw materials - in particular corundum plastics, ZTA (Zirconia Toughened Alumina), silicon nitride and silicon carbide. The scope of work also includes the determination of the relationship and correlation between the phase composition and microstructure and the mechanical and thermomechanical properties of the obtained ceramic materials. In the case of silicon carbide-based plastics, the scope of work also includes determining the relationship between technological conditions, formulation composition, phase composition and microstructure and the properties of the materials obtained. The order is…

… divided into three stages. 2. Detailed description of the subject of the contract. 2.1. STAGE I: Characteristics of ceramic powders and obtained sinters. 1. Characteristics of ceramic powders or mixtures thereof. The scope of research includes: • determination of phase composition by X-ray diffraction (XRD) – 10 powders; • Zeta potential measurement – 10 powders; • determination of the specific surface of powders by the multipoint adsorption isotherm BET – in the amount of 10 powders; • characteristics of powder morphology by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) – 10 powders. 2. Characteristics of the sinter obtained. The scope of research includes: • determination of phase composition by X-ray diffraction (XRD) in the amount of 40 measurements; • determination of sinter microstructure by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), including stereographic characteristics, in the amount of 40 measurements; • determination of resistance to brittle cracking by the SENB method or by making a Vickers pyramid imprint and measuring the length of cracks in the amount of 40 different types of materials; • determination of mechanical flexural strength – 40 different materials; • determination of Young's module as a function of temperature – 4 measurements; • hardness determination – 40 different materials; • determination of resistance to heat shock – 4 different materials. 3. The elaboration of the results together with the report should include an analysis and description of the relationship between the phase composition, microstructure and mechanical and thermomechanical properties of the tested ceramic materials. In the case of silicon carbide-based materials, the study should additionally include the determination of the relationship between technological conditions, formulation composition, phase composition and microstructure, and the properties of the obtained sinters. 2.2. STAGE II: Characteristics of corundum fittings manufactured on a technical scale. The scope of research includes: • determination of phase composition by X-ray diffraction (XRD) – 6 measurements; • the determination of the sinter microstructure by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), together with the stereological characteristics, in the amount of 6 measurements; • determination of resistance to brittle cracking by the SENB method or by making a Vickers pyramid imprint and measuring the length of cracks in the amount of 6 different materials; • determination of mechanical flexural strength – in the amount of 6 different materials; • marking of Young's module – in the amount of 6 materials; • determination of hardness – in the amount of 6 different materials. 2.3. Stage III. The characteristics of SiC, ZTA and Si₃N₄ fittings manufactured on a technical scale Stage III covers the characteristics of silicon carbide (SiC), ZTA (Zirconia Toughened Alumina) and silicon nitride (Si₃N₄) fittings manufactured on a technical scale. The scope of research includes: • determination of phase composition by X-ray diffraction (XRD) – 20 measurements; • determination of sinter microstructure by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), including stereographic characteristics, in the amount of 20 materials; • Defined
