What the buyer is looking for
In order to better meet its needs for security, flow management and the protection of its teaching and research activities, the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 has gradually developed a centralised access control system allowing the management of access to buildings, sensitive premises and associated infrastructures. Initially deployed since 2008 around the SIPASS solution, this system has developed over the years, empirically and sparsely, to support changes in the real estate heritage, the increase in the number of users and the specific needs of the components, laboratories and services of the establishment. Access control is now an essential tool for the daily operation of the University. It contributes to the security of people and property, the protection of research activities, the management of access to sensitive premises and the control of flows over the entire real estate heritage.
