Lift systems shall meet at least energy efficiency class A in accordance with ISO 25745 with regard to their energy efficiency. The installed manholes meet the requirements of DIN 4102 and are designed for the occurring loads. All installation parts required for assembly must be inserted into the internal shaft walls. The contractor (AN) is responsible for ensuring that the fastening components are delivered to the raw material builder in good time so that the latter can install them. Non-lifting devices in the driving shaft are not permitted. The lifts comply with type 02 according to DIN EN 81-70 and are suitable, among other things, for a user with wheelchair class A or B with accompanying person. As part of the construction project, due to local conditions, three elevator systems with an underpass (pit) reduced to 360 mm are required. This exceptionally low underpass is due to the structural boundary conditions of the structure and does not allow a version with a conventional lift technology. The elevator driveway is located in the area of the oppressive groundwater. A further deepening of the elevator shaft pit would require considerable additional measures for waterproofing the structure according to the recognised rules of technology and would involve a significantly increased technical, economic and structural effort. In addition, there would be increased risks with regard to the permanent tightness of the structure. For this reason, an elevator solution is required that manages with a reduced underpass without the need for structural changes to the foundation or the building waterproofing. After a thorough examination of the lift systems available on the market, it was found that only a few companies can implement a standard and approved lift solution that meets the required combination of a reduced underpass of 360 mm, a reduced shaft head of 2610 mm and a lift speed of 1.0 m/s in compliance with the applicable safety requirements and the relevant standards, in particular DIN EN 81-20 and DIN EN 81-50. However, an assignment in the context of a direct award to a company cannot take place. In the context of the votes on the part of the working party, an agreement was reached on a reduced elevator driveway in order to reduce the effort for water management and thus to optimize the costs, and the elevators in the subareas are to be awarded as part of a separate award in order to incorporate the technical and structural framework conditions arising after the award of the elevator systems into the FLB (GU award).
