What the buyer is looking for
The listed Gothic Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Stendal (beginning of construction around 1420) is a high-quality testimony to Hanseatic North German brick architecture, for which the large inventory of original lead glass windows is characteristic as an outstanding feature. The planned measure (3.BA) provides for the restoration of walls and vaults in the nave and in the south transept. On the brick surfaces of the inner walls and columns there is a white color setting (1950), which is to be removed and produced with a red-colored glue color retouching or a new version in the typical brick red. The vaults are painted with lime or glue paint. Their repainting is part of the tendered services. Preparatory work such as crack remediation, plaster repairs and stabilizations including necessary puttying are also part of the services to be provided. In a 1. / 2.
