… 2 lots, one for the western part and one for the eastern part of Flanders. Plots / Lots: The objective of this contract is the restoration of approximately 66 damaged monitoring wells of the phreatic groundwater monitoring network, spread over Antwerp, Flemish Brabant and Limburg, with the intention of making these wells operational again. This means that the faulty finish of the well at ground level, consisting of concrete base and lockable steel tube, must be repaired and/or the gauge pipes must be repaired and cleaned. Thorough knowledge of the operation and construction of especially shallow groundwater monitoring wells is necessary for the correct implementation of the restoration, including the availability of the required restoration tools and the appropriate material.
