What the buyer is looking for
Type of service Landscaping / civil engineering / asphalting work Scope of the service The measure includes the asphalting of a 2.5 kilometre long section of the so-called "Gruga-Trasse", a water-bound combined cycle and walkway. The section is located in the Essen districts of Frohnhausen and Margarethenhöhe on a former railway line between the Orangerie entrance to Grugapark and the city limits of Mülheim (see Annex 1, site plan). The path is to be asphalted exclusively on its stock width. For this purpose, a 10 cm thick asphalt support/cover layer should be applied in widths between 3.5 and 4 meters. This shall be provided on both sides with 50 cm wide gravel banquets. For better orientation, a two-sided thermoplastic road marking shall be applied to the edge of the road as a guiding element. The section of the Gruga route to be paved can be accessed via several access roads and ramps…

… from Fulerumer Straße, Wienenbuschstraße, Kühlshammerweg, Hohlweg and Virchowstraße. It should be noted that due to limited space and low towing curve radii, access by large vehicles (e.g. tractor units) cannot be guaranteed. Site installation and storage areas are not provided. The resulting difficulties and additional expenses are to be taken into account in the calculation of the unit prices, in particular for the delivery of bulk goods. It is strongly recommended to visit the access roads and the section of track to be asphalted before calculating the offer. On the section of the Gruga route to be asphalted, there are a total of three bridge structures that must be crossed. The bridges are located from west to east at the Kesselbach/Borbecker Mühlenbach junction, east of the tennis court of TVE Frohnhausen, in the area of the Hohlweg road in the area of Virchowstraße/Kühlshammerweg. The Kesselbach/Borbecker Mühlenbach bridge is approved for vehicles with a payload of up to 38 tons. The former ice rink bridges on Hohlweg and Virchowstraße/ Kühlshammerweg are approved for use with loads of up to 3.5 tons. The difficulties and additional expenses resulting from the limited load capacity of the bridges, in particular for the delivery of bulk materials and the use of vehicles and machines, are to be taken into account in the calculation of the unit prices. The construction site area is located on a former railway dam, which connects directly to forest and tree stands. It should be borne in mind that due to the limited space, no construction site installation and storage areas can be made available. Damage caused by the contractor to paths, vegetation or other furnishings or equipment must be repaired by the contractor at his own expense. All services include the delivery of the associated materials and components, including unloading and storage on the construction site, unless otherwise stipulated in the specifications, as well as recycling or landfilling in accordance with the Circular Economy Act. When stating "dispose" or "transport to landfill" in a service text, the payment of the landfill fees or the recycling costs must always be taken into account as part of the service and in the calculation of the unit prices. Deviating regulations are expressly pointed out in the text. Where no make is entered in items in which make proposals and equivalents are approved, the proposed make shall be deemed to have been offered. The contractor must carry out the work in his own company. With the written consent of the client, he may transfer them to subcontractors. Consent is not required for services to which the B
