Provision of winter maintenance of roads in Harrachov in the period 11/2026 to 03/2031

Detailed definition of the subject of the contract WINTER MAINTENANCE: The task and goal of winter maintenance is to mitigate defects caused by winter weather conditions and their consequences in passability and feasibility on local roads, including their components, pedestrian roads and public spaces in the territory of the city of Harrachov. Winter maintenance also includes removing heaps of snow and snow barriers in places where there is a need to provide enough space before further maintenance, balancing snow from intersections and other places to ensure safe passage and the feasibility of local roads. DISPATCHING WINTER MAINTENANCE: The winter road maintenance dispatching centre (hereinafter referred to as the ZÚK) organizes the implementation of the ZÚK according to the approved ZÚK with regard to the current state of passability and feasibility of local roads and current weather, according to the current state of passability and feasibility of local roads, organizes and coordinates the deployment of all equipment intended for the implementation of the ZÚK (provided by the supplier and the city), carries out a check of the current state of passability and feasibility of local roads, monitors current weather developments and information provided by the hydrometeorological institute on current forecasts, state and development of weather, keeps a diary of winter road maintenance, ensures a permanent service responsible for the performance of winter maintenance, provides a winter maintenance dispatching service available by telephone between 6 and 22 hours, ensures control over the movement of equipment intended for winter maintenance via online GPS monitoring, closely cooperates with the authorities of the city of Harrachov, the Police of the Czech Republic and other entities, participates in the investigation of accidents suspected to have arisen as a result of defects in passability and suitability. COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF POSSYPAL MATERIAL: The supplier is obliged to provide pre-stocking with grit intended for the ZÚK. This grit material must be stored in the cadastre of the town of Harrachov or in its very close vicinity and in accordance with the applicable legislation. The minimum amount of grit is 250 t (200 t inert and 50 t chemical) before the start of each winter season. OTHER ACTIVITIES RELATED TO WINTER MAINTENANCE: Carrying out other winter road maintenance activities. These include the installation of orientation snow bars before winter road maintenance and their dismantling after winter maintenance, as well as the cleaning of land contaminated during winter maintenance and the restoration of land damaged during winter maintenance.
