The city of Remscheid intends to set up a rescue station site in the Lüttringhausen operational core area. Until the complete establishment of this location, the service provider must maintain a suitable location for an ambulance from the start of the service for the duration of the award in the Lüttringhausen area (see image inserted). During the construction and maintenance of the site, the relevant accident prevention regulations, VDI, VDE standards, DIN regulations, the special hygiene regulations for the rescue service and the guidelines for preventive fire protection must be observed. In order to prove the suitability of the location, the bidder must name the exact and suitable location and provide evidence of its availability at the beginning of the service (property relationships, preliminary contracts for purchase or rent, declaration of commitment by the landlord/owner, etc.). The assessment of the suitability of the site with regard to 1. Buildings and infrastructure 2. Technical supply and reliability 3. Vehicle and material availability 4. Security and Resilience 5. The organisation of the business is explained in the specific terms and conditions of the contract. If, at the time of submission of the tender, the site does not yet meet the structural and access requirements set out below in these specifications, the tenderer must explain in the tender how it will ensure this until the start of the service. The client reserves the right to visit the location specified in the offer in order to check its suitability. At the request of the contracting authority, the tenderer must make this visit possible. In addition to site requirements, the following requirements must be met: DIN 13049 in the currently valid version. In addition, a refrigerator in accordance with DIN 13277 with a cooling volume of at least 30 litres must be kept in the storage room for medicines and consumables for the exclusive and proper storage of medicines. A weather- and temperature-protected vehicle parking space must be provided at the start of the service. The usability of the site must not be restricted even in the event of a prolonged power failure in the essential functions. This includes, in particular, the removal of life-saving appliances.
