… and fault reporting. The tenderer is responsible for ensuring that the tender includes all the equipment and related services listed in the tender form. The equipment and quantity data provided in the invitation to tender and its annexes are estimates. During the contract period, the number of devices may increase or decrease in accordance with the terms of the contract. One (1) service provider (supplier) will be selected in the procurement. The start of service production may take place on a customer-by-subscriber basis at different times, depending on the subscribers' current contractual arrangements and their end dates. The contract period is four (4) years. Thereafter, the Subscriber shall be entitled to two (2) option periods of one (1) year, each of which shall be taken into use separately. The maximum duration of the contract, including option periods, is six (6) years. The estimated start time of the contract indicated in the contract notice is indicative. The contractual relationship and the provision of services begin as defined in the draft contract. The contracting entity has assessed the division of the procurement into lots. In the view of the contracting entity, the lifts and other lifting, stair and door equipment included in the subject matter of the procurement form a technically, functionally and contractually coherent maintenance entity in the same subject matter. The allocation of the procurement was estimated to increase contract management, division of responsibilities and coordination-related risks, as well as weaken the overall controllability of the service. There are no separate qualification requirements for lifting and door equipment and the tenderer may use subcontractors or submit a tender as a group. In the view of the contracting entity, operators specialising in sub-packages may also participate in the competition through such arrangements, which is why the procurement is carried out as a whole.
