What the buyer is looking for
The subject matter of the contract was the supply of a gamma defectoscope for 192Ir and 75Se, which included: gamma defectoscope, radioactive isotope holder, remote control, ampoule tube, ampoule tube and gamma defectoscope adapter, ampoule tube nozzle. The gamma-defectoscope is the main technical means for carrying out radiographic control, through which the current state of welded joints of equipment, vessels and pipelines at Kozloduy NPP EAD is assessed. The gamma-defectoscope shall be made of materials having the following characteristics: - chrome nickel steel housing; - depleted uranium protective material.
