… and security requirements. Only Cisco network components (hardware, software, software services) are used for the networks of Bayerische Staatsforsten. The subject of the invitation to tender is the conclusion of a framework contract for the supply of network components from Cisco, including related software, licenses, maintenance, care, support and maintenance services and, where appropriate, other technical services. On the basis of the framework contract, existing components are to be renewed, expanded or replaced as required during the term of the contract. The framework contract does not serve the complete reconstruction of an isolated infrastructure, but the further development of an existing, productively operated network landscape during ongoing operation on the basis of network components. The services to be procured must be integrated into the existing system landscape and must meet the requirements for interoperability, information security, availability, operational stability, administration and cost-effectiveness. Particular importance is attached to compatibility with existing network, security, management and automation processes, as well as the ability to ensure the operation of the existing infrastructure without disproportionate conversion, migration or parallel operation efforts. The estimated total demand includes the successive procurement of network components, network security solutions, software licenses and related maintenance, care, support and maintenance services over the intended term of the contract.
