KI strives for a broad range of suppliers and sees value in including both larger full-service laboratories and smaller, highly specialized laboratories. The procurement has therefore been divided into two sub-areas and under each sub-area there are three assignment categories, in order to attract bidders of different sizes and with different orientations. · Dental Technician assignment A, refers to the Student Clinic. KI needs collaboration with both broad and specialised dental laboratories to meet the combined needs of its operations. These laboratories can operate independently of geographical proximity to KI and are used based on the nature, complexity and competence needs of each assignment. · Dental Technician assignment B, refers to the Specialist Clinics. KI needs collaboration with both broad and specialised dental laboratories to meet the combined needs of its operations. These laboratories can operate independently of geographical proximity to KI and are used based on the nature, complexity and competence needs of each assignment. In addition, KI needs several dental laboratories that can offer physical patient reception for coloring and aesthetic adaptation. For these assignments, coloring should be possible without unreasonable travel for the patient, in order to ensure patient safety, accessibility and to avoid negative impact on patient bookings and students' teaching and treatment planning.
