What the buyer is looking for

The Department currently owns, supports and maintains 43 websites via the Digital Transformation Unit. These sites cover a range of Business Activities from Housing, Heritage, Fire Safety, Local Government Oversight and supporting Ireland’s Electoral Processes. Most of these sites are WordPress based or static html (whereby WordPress is used to generate a site). The Department is seeking to award a contract to a single service provider to provide website hosting, support and future website development assistance for the Department’s websites. In addition, to supporting the Department’s websites online, there will be a requirement to provide an onsite support presence, along with The Digital Transformation Unit (DTU), on the run up to and during events such as the Presidential election and/or Referenda or at any other times as required by the DTU.
