The planned area is located within the Oker-Umflut in the center of Wolfenbüttel in the immediate vicinity of the north-adjacent castle building and the south-adjacent building of the Landesmusikakademie and the Jugendgästehaus. For the development and installation of the construction site for the new construction "Discharge Building II", a total area of around 6,000 m2 is taken up on the school property. In addition to the building with a floor area of around 1,300 m2, around 3,500 m2 are accounted for by the existing schoolyard and around 1,200 m2 by a green area. The areas are completely overformed by the construction site operation and must be refurbished or replanned after completion of the building construction work.
