What the buyer is looking for
The Riihimäki Water Supply Agency (hereinafter referred to as the "Procurement Entity" or the "Subscriber") invites tenders for a further treatment and disposal service for sewage sludge and a transport service for further treatment in accordance with this invitation to tender and its annexes. Transport, treatment and disposal of mechanically dehydrated digested sludge from the Riihimäki wastewater treatment plant. The dry matter content of the sludge has been 25-30% and the amount of dehydrated sludge is approx. 3 000 t per year. The dry matter content and the amounts of sludge are not binding. The concentrations of harmful metals in the sludge are low and below the maximum concentrations laid down in the Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on fertilising products (No 24/11). … EU threshold value and is subject to the Procurement Act for Special Sectors. For the purpose of this procurement, the most economic advantageous price is used. The contract period is 01.01.2027-31.12.2028 and the contract includes the possibility of one (1) (2) two (2) options (2+2) The contracting entity does not commit to certain quantities, The contract does not constitute an exclusive right for the Service Provider to carry out the procurement. The tenderer must familiarise himself with the place of dismantling of the sludge before submitting a tender.
