What the buyer is looking for
HungaroMet Nonprofit Zrt. uses “Vaisala AS41 AUTOSONDE” type ground equipment for high-atmospheric measurements of radio probes in Budapest and Szeged. These devices are automatically operated electromechanical devices using robotic techniques. They are able, on the basis of a pre-programmed schedule, at any time of the week, to: a. immediately prior to the measurement, prepare and check the radio probe for measurement, b. fill the balloon into the high atmosphere with hydrogen gas, c. launch the radio probe-balloon assembly at the specified time, d. take and process atmospheric data measured by the probe and radiated in real time using its radio transmitter, e. produce the data in a format suitable for international meteorological data exchange and transmit them using standard IT tools. … of this procurement, the supplier is responsible for supplying the following equipment suitable for filling the above equipment: 1. 1500 radio probes containing: a. Compatible with Vaisala AS41 AUTOSONDE ground equipment; b. Capable of measuring the air temperature during flight to an accuracy of at least 0.2 C; c. Measuring the relative humidity of the air during flight to an accuracy of at least 3%; d. Capable of measuring air pressure with a score of at least 0.4 hPa during flight; e. Capable of measuring the altitude wind direction to an accuracy of at least 2 degrees and its speed to an accuracy of at least 0.2 m/s while in flight, using GPS techniques; f. capable of transmitting within the 400 to 406 MHz radio frequency band at a frequency chosen by the user and having a power of 60 mW or more. 2. 1500 balloons of 600 g, capable of carrying the radio probe to an altitude of at least 30 km; 3. 1500 pieces balloon valve, which makes the balloon suitable for automatic filling. General requirements — 12 months full warranty on the devices to be procured, — Delivery of factory new products. The contracting authority shall specify that in accordance with Article 321/2015. In accordance with Section 46(3) and (5) of the Government Decree, all references to radio probes, components or procedures of a specific make, origin or type that may be found in the technical specifications or in the procurement documents shall be read as ‘or equivalent’, and the proof of equivalence shall be fully accepted by the Contracting Authority in order to ensure effective competition.
