The district of Osnabrück intends to build a new 3-field sports hall with a grandstand for up to 199 people in Melle, including an additional course room and a spacious foyer. The Sporthalle Melle is a building with a correspondingly divisible 3-field hall with a hall area of approx. 27 x 46 m and a superimposed 1- or 2-storey building. The building is not basement. On the ground floor are the hall level, the associated changing rooms and equipment rooms as well as the open entrance foyer, course rooms and other ancillary areas. … outer facade design is thus divided into a massive closed base with exposed concrete prefabricated parts and an upper facade, which is constructed as a curtain facade, consisting of differently colored, vertically arranged ceramic elements. The roof of the sports hall consists of a prestressed concrete truss construction and a support shell made of trapezoidal sheet. The roof is designed as an extensive green roof with PV systems. The trusses have a straightening length of about 37m and rest on corresponding reinforced concrete supports. The roof surfaces of the superimposed structures are massively constructed in reinforced concrete, also with an extensive green roof, but without PV modules. The entire building is founded by means of drilling piles (full concrete extrusion piles for soil improvement) and pile head beams. The reinforced concrete sheet is designed in WU construction as a cantilevered sheet. The substructure is formed with gravel bearing layer, cleanliness layer and perimeter insulation. The building is located in a flood protection area. Appropriate permits for this are already available. Measures for flood protection are mainly taken by means of adapted open-air plant planning. The subject of this procurement procedure is the works required for the construction project for the impact wall system. The execution of the works to be awarded is expected to start around June 2027. Workshop and assembly planning must be submitted within four weeks of placing the order.
