… Republic of Ireland. An Post has initially identified approximately 53 properties nationwide for the installation of Solar PV systems. These properties vary in size, building type, electrical demand, available roof area, electrical infrastructure and grid connection arrangements. Accordingly, individual Solar PV installations will vary in capacity and complexity. It is anticipated that projects delivered under the Qualification System will include installations across the applicable ESB Networks generator connection categories, including: • NC6 – Micro-generation: including three-phase installations up to and including approximately 11 kVA; • NC7 – Mini-generation: including three-phase installations above approximately 11 kVA and up to 50 kVA; and • NC8 – Small Scale Generation: including larger inverter-connected generation installations above approximately 50 kVA, subject to the applicable ESB Networks requirements.
