What the buyer is looking for
In accordance with § 291 SGB V, the Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) issues an electronic health card (eGK) for each insured person. The eGK serves as proof of the use of services in the context of contracted medical care and must in principle be provided with a picture of the cardholder for insured persons aged 15 and over. For this reason, TK requests a picture from its customers. The requested images can be submitted by post or uploaded online. The images submitted to the TK, if they have not been uploaded online, will be digitized by the TK in the first step. The TK does not carry out the further image assessment and processing itself, but commissions the contractor (AN) for this purpose. He checks, evaluates and edits the photos to eGK-specification-compliant images for the production of the eGK. · The currently working day quantity of images to be processed by the AN is between 5,000…

… and 12,000 pieces. Over the maximum contract period of 4 years, TK expects approximately 7.08 million image inputs to be processed into eGK-compliant images. The quantity figures show the estimated needs of the TK, without this justifying a call obligation in the corresponding amount. There is no obligation to call a certain minimum volume. The maximum value is 115 per cent of the offer comparison price in accordance with Annex A1 to the procurement documents.
