… 1) for use in the mechanical concentration of excess sludge: - Purpose: pre-concentration of sewage sludge on a mechanical compactor. - Demonstrate a reference that the products used do not adversely affect biological processes in biological reactors and fermentation chambers, - Hydration of sediments in the broadcast approximately : 99%, - Final hydration of sediments: ≤ 96% - Consumption of polymer up to 6-7 g/xm of sludge - Slurry in effluent not more than 500 g/m3 b) Supply of the polymer package in liquid or solid form (Part 2) - Sludge press: - Purpose: dehydration of sewage sludge on a screw filter press, - Hydration of sludge in the broadcast about: 98.2%, - Final sediment hydration: ≤ 81%, - Consumption of polymer up to 10g/xm of sludge - Slurry in effluent not more than 600 g/m3 c) Supply of solid polymer package (Part 3) - Sludge press: - Purpose: dehydration of sewage sludge on a belt filter press, - Hydration of sludge in the broadcast approximately: 98.2%, - Final sediment hydration ≤81%, - Polymer consumption up to 10 g/xm of sediment - Slurry in leachate not more than 600 g/m3 4.Please be advised that the sediment subject to dehydration on the filter press is a digestate with variable sediment character and possible fermentation. Digestate in the range of 65-75% of dry organic matter. 5.Liquid polymer 3.4.1.a) is used for excessive sediment in the range of 70-88% dry organic matter. 6.Technical test: 6.1. Polymers should be selected taking into account technological solutions and the actual characteristics of the Ordering Party's sediments. 6.2. The Contractor must carry out technical tests at his own expense before submitting his tender. 6.3. The tests will be carried out by the Contractor with the participation of the Ordering Party. 6.4. The Contractor is obliged to perform technical tests of sludge dewatering in the Contracting Authority's treatment plant. 6.5. The report on the completion of the tests (Annex 5 to the tender specification) at the contracting authority’s waste water treatment plant, signed by the persons participating in the tests (both the potential contractor and the contracting authority’s representative), must be attached to the tender. The test report must contain at least: the date of the tests, the names of the representatives of the Contracting Authority and the Contractor present during the tests, the name of the polymer tested, the hydration effect (in %), the dose at which the indicated hydration effect was obtained, the number of tests carried out. 6.6. The Contracting Authority shall allow Contractors to carry out tests before submitting tenders in order for Contractors to familiarise themselves with the place where the service is to be provided, as well as to obtain, on their own responsibility and risk, all the information necessary for the preparation of the tender. 6.7. Analytical tests in the conducted tests on a technical scale should be carried out in a laboratory of the Ordering Party or a laboratory accredited by the Ordering Party with accreditation for the tests required in the Terms of Reference and the test protocol.
