The contracting authority, the city of Homberg (Efze) (AG), was included in the federal-state funding programme ‘Social Cohesion’ in 2025. An Integrated Urban Development Concept (ISEK) with intensive citizen participation is currently being developed, which is expected to be completed and adopted in Q3/Q4 2026. ISEK will include a set of measures with a defined prioritisation to be implemented. Preliminary drafts of the ISEK and the catalogue of measures are attached to the procurement documents.
