Utilization of the municipal share of cardboard, paper, and paperboard (PPK) from the state capital Potsdam

… transport of the PPK fractions to the transfer point are ensured by the client (here STEP) and are not the subject of the tendered service. Likewise, the provision or co-utilisation of the system operator's share is not the subject of the tendered service. The state capital Potsdam has almost 188,000 inhabitants on an area of about 187 km2. The utilisation services to be commissioned in accordance with these terms of reference are linked in time to the collection and provision of PPK waste by STEP. A provision to the system operators is not part of this contract. They are responsible for the share of the systems and are used independently by them. In total, the contracting authority assumes a total quantity of approximately 5,915 Mg/a of PPK waste (municipal share) without obligation. However, this is only a non-binding assessment by the client, a binding forecast is not associated with it. For the year in which the service is provided, the service only includes the utilisation of the so-called municipal share of PPK. The share of system operators is used independently by them. The total quantities of PPK waste in the state capital are slightly decreasing. In the years 2023 to 2025, the total quantities recorded in the state capital were as follows: Year Total quantity of PPK waste (municipal share) in Mg 2023 6.569 2024 6.383 2025 6.069 It is noted that the volume accumulation is subject to both seasonal and short-term (day-related) volume fluctuations. Even the volume increase in the course of a working day cannot be predicted firmly. These fluctuations are expected to continue, although the extent of the fluctuations can not be predicted, both seasonally and on a daily basis, depending on many factors (holidays, holidays, other collections, economic activity). Nor can it be guaranteed or guaranteed that similar annual quantities will be achieved over the term of the contract as indicated in the table above. In summary, the contracting authority does not guarantee that the volume development will continue to be as described in the tables for the years 2023 to 2025 or that the annual quantity of approximately 5,915 Mg estimated by the contracting authority - roughly and in italics - will actually be achieved. During the term of the contract, the invoice shall be made exclusively on the basis of the contractual provisions on remuneration, the prices queried in the price sheet as well as the services actually provided by the contractor or proven quantities used. In principle, the service requested by the contractor relates to waste with the waste key number 20 01 01 (paper and cardboard) in accordance with the Ordinance on the European List of Waste (AVV), as last amended by Article 1 of the Ordinance of 30 June 2020 (BGBl. I, p. 1533). The PPK-Fr
