What the buyer is looking for

The very strong competition between modes of transport (air, passenger cars, carpooling, … bus), the opening up of international rail transport to competition since 2010 and the forthcoming ecological awareness make responsiveness, agility and innovation imperative. In this context, Voyages SNCF has been offering for 30 years to airlines that wish to do so a railway offer to transport customers in the airline sector from a selection of French and European TGV stations to the main French airports. Faced with the development of this sector of activity, Voyages SNCF wishes to develop this product with the help of an SI provider taking care of all the stages of booking management, ordering and issuing of vouchers in the context of the sale of this product by airlines. This partner will have to be able to manage the increase and diversity of available data linked to the marketing of several…

… SNCF offers (TGV Inoui, OUIGO) and a range of partner airlines. To date, the booking of seats in TGVs by partner airlines is based on an automated process in 2022 allowing airline customers to book an end-to-end train + plane ticket using a technical brick linking the different inventories. This booking process is currently based on a fixed price, regardless of the date or time of travel. The current process allows customers to autonomously manage the issuance of their train ticket via an online platform. SNCF counters are therefore no longer in charge of this issue, except in disturbed cases. SNCF Voyageurs wishes to improve the Train+Air product for the following reasons: • Further develop the current global and segmented offer, with a digital product present on the entire LGV network (Intersectors and radials) offering different levels of service (Supplementarity of offer between TGV Inoui and OUIGO); • Have a competitive product to attract new companies. • Have a tool that can easily evolve with the opportunities offered by the growth of the aviation market. SNCF Voyageurs wishes to have a solution that allows the various airlines to connect to the SNCF booking system. This solution will therefore have to: • Integrate with airline systems and manage operational differences between air and rail; • Interfacing with the SNCF reservation system by accessing the SNCF offer access portal, the entry point for booking all SNCF offers (TGV Inoui, Ouigo in particular). The solution sought has several objectives: • Managing booking and delaying the opening of booking periods between rail and air carriers; • Publish SNCF timetables and services to airlines and their distributors • Issue rail tickets; • Monitor the management of changes in passenger status and share them (Boarded status for controlled tickets) in accordance with the SNCF and air processes; • Allow the monitoring of the invoicing of services; • Send the customer's ticket to the Airline • Offer a simple solution so that the customer can pick up his train ticket independently • Offer a solution for consulting railway tickets to SNCF agents in order to overcome operational problems. The consultation is conducted by SNCF's Direction des Achats et de l'EConnomie Circulaire (DAGEC), as the representative of the CRMS subsidiary that will carry the contract. Indeed, the management of the Train + Air product is ensured by CRMS subcontracted by SNCF Voyageurs. SNCF Voyageurs provides rail capacity purchased by airlines and CRMS pilot and facilitates the device for the benefit of SNCF
