For the maintenance of waterways, dikes and other areas, the Rijn en IJssel Water Board uses mowing baskets of the brands Hobelman and Herder. In order to ensure the continuity, safety and efficiency of this work, there is also a need for the supply of cutting baskets and parts in the coming years. The water board chooses to continue to support the current brands within the machinery because of the existing knowledge, the existing maintenance organization and the proven usability of these machines. In addition, the Water Board wishes to include the Rumex brand within this tender, so that during the contract period there is the possibility to purchase mower baskets and parts of this brand.
