… services is not the subject of the procurement. These are services that are relevant to the realisation of the fundamental rights of the users of the service. The purpose of the procurement is to ensure the continuity, availability and coverage of the services and to take into account the special needs of the users of the services. The procurement also covers the transport of social welfare and health care personnel and, to a lesser extent, other passenger transport according to the client's needs. The subject of the procurement may be, to a minor extent, the transport of goods related to the customer's activities. Goods transports include, for example, the transport of social and health care equipment and materials and the like. Freight transport can be carried out separately or in combination with passenger transport. The Eastern Uusimaa wellbeing services county is responsible for maintaining the procurement system. The procurement system is valid until 31 December 2033, during which time internal calls for tenders are made in the service provider register. Deadlines for invitations to tender shall be indicated separately in internal invitations to tender. The subscriber may extend the validity of the service provider register with a new contract notice. In the future, the contracting entity will carry out competitive tendering for passenger transport services in a dynamic purchasing system as necessary. In order to participate in the calls for tenders, the service provider must submit a request to participate by replying to this request to participate.
