What the buyer is looking for

The Contracting Authority invites economic operators interested in supplying standard empty aluminium boxes (possibly including standard division (option), also referred to as 'trays'), to register with the DAS. This procurement guide contains, in addition to a description of the Contracting Authority, the purpose and functioning of the DAS and of the contracts awarded under the DAS, all the information you need to submit a Request for Admission, the criteria for admission and a description of the detailed tender procedure and how contracts are awarded. The Assignment This DAS is set for the delivery of standard empty aluminium boxes, possibly including standard division. These aluminium boxes are used throughout the Ministry of Defence and do not have a fixed group of users. The aluminium boxes must be delivered in the Netherlands (in principle Steenwijk and/or Lettele and over time…

… (also) Soesterberg). The supply of custom aluminium crates, UN-certified istes and/or aluminium crates with customised inlays explicitly do not fall within the scope of this Assignment/DAS. Objective Dynamic purchasing system With the DAS, the Contracting Authority aims to purchase supplies of standard empty aluminium crates (possibly including standard division) in a fair, fast and simple manner in accordance with the 2012 Procurement Act, by means of full competition. The above procurement needs will in principle be marketed through the DAS. An exception can only be made to this, in accordance with the Procurement Act 2012, if, in the opinion of the Contracting Authority, it is necessary to request contracts in a different way and/or from parties other than in the DAS. Duration of the Dynamic Purchasing System This DAS has a duration of 96 months. The Contracting Authority is free to add or remove Qualifications to the DAS during the term. This will be announced by the Contracting Authority with a rectification where necessary. Estimated value - Scope of the contracts envisaged The estimated total value of the contracts envisaged is estimated at EUR 12,670,000 excluding VAT. The Contracting Authority expects to award approximately 4 contracts per year in this DAS. With a total duration of 8 years, there are approximately 32 in total. The Contracting Authority currently has an ongoing framework contract for the supply of aluminium crates. Once the maximum value of that framework agreement has been reached, contracts will only be issued in this DAS. (Inter)national developments can lead to more or less deployment of the armed forces. More use may lead to additional calls from standard empty aluminium boxes (possibly with standard division). The above-mentioned estimated value and number of contracts per year is indicative. No rights can be derived from this information. The number of assignments per year and the value can vary (significantly) over time.
